Whether this is your first spray tan or you’ve been getting them for years, I want you to know exactly what to expect before I arrive.
From choosing your formula to prepping your skin, rinsing correctly + making your color last, you’ll find the answers to the questions I hear most often below.

Choosing Your Glow

All three are customized around your skin tone, undertone + desired depth. The biggest difference is how long you wear the solution before rinsing and whether you leave the appointment wearing visible guide bronzer.
Classic Glow — $75
Traditional development with an 8–12 hour rinse window.Rapid Glow — $85
Traditional guide bronzer with a shorter 3–5 hour rinse window.Clear Glow — $95
A bronzer-free rapid formula that applies clear and develops gradually, with a 3–5 hour rinse window.If you’re completely unsure, don’t stress. We can decide together based on your skin, schedule + plans.

If you have the time for a traditional development window, Classic Glow is usually where I recommend starting.
It gives us plenty of control over your finished color and lets me learn how your skin develops the solution.
If your schedule requires a faster rinse—or you know you don’t want to wear guide bronzer—Rapid or Clear may make more sense.
You never need to know your exact shade before booking. That part is my job.

I look at much more than whether you consider yourself “light, medium or dark.”
Your natural skin tone, undertone, hydration, desired depth, rinse window + upcoming plans all help determine the direction we take.
After 16+ years working with skin, I approach spray tanning from a skin-first perspective.
There isn’t one universal perfect shade. There’s a perfect direction for your skin.

Classic Glow is $75, Rapid Glow is $85 and Clear Glow is $95. Travel fees may apply depending on your location. Wellen Park travel is complimentary.

Before Your Appointment

For the smoothest, most even result:
24 hours before:
Exfoliate thoroughly, paying extra attention to dry areas like knees, elbows, ankles, hands + feet.
Shave or wax ahead of time whenever possible.
Avoid oily scrubs or anything that may leave a heavy residue on the skin.
The day of your appointment:
Arrive with clean, dry skin.
Avoid lotion, body oils, perfume + deodorant whenever possible.
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing afterward.
You’ll also receive detailed prep instructions before your appointment, so you won’t have to remember all of this yourself.

If possible, shower earlier in the day rather than immediately before your appointment.
Very hot showers, exfoliation or shaving immediately beforehand can leave the skin more sensitive.
The most important thing is that your skin is clean, completely dry + free of lotions, oils and other products when we begin.

Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
Some clients wear dark underwear, a strapless bra, disposable garments or other minimal clothing depending on the tan lines they want.
I’ll talk you through your options before we start.
There is no pressure to wear less than you’re comfortable wearing.
The Mobile Experience

Yes.
Glow by Dominique is a completely mobile service, so I bring the professional spray tanning setup directly to your home, hotel or approved location.
You don’t have to drive anywhere before or after your appointment—and you don’t have to climb back into your car while your tan develops.

This is one of the most common concerns for first-time mobile clients.
Spray tanning is personal. I’m entering your space, and there can naturally be some vulnerability involved in the appointment.
My job is to make it feel completely normal.
I’ll set everything up, explain the process, help you decide what to wear, talk through your color + guide you through every position.
Clients regularly tell me:
“You made me feel so comfortable.”
That compliment means just as much to me as hearing that they love their color.

Please provide a clean, safe area approximately 6 ft × 6 ft with adequate ventilation and access to two electrical outlets.
I bring the professional tent, equipment + supplies.
You provide the space.
I handle the rest.

I bring the setup, complete your appointment and pack everything back up before I leave.
That’s part of the beauty of mobile.
After Your Appointment

Your rinse time depends on the service you choose and the color we’re creating.
Classic Glow: approximately 8–12 hours
Rapid Glow: approximately 3–5 hours
Clear Glow: approximately 3–5 hoursYour exact rinse time will be given to you during your appointment.
Always follow the rinse time I give you rather than assuming darker = longer.

If your tan has a guide bronzer, a lot of visible color will rinse away during your first shower.
That is normal.
The guide bronzer is cosmetic color used during application—it is not your finished tan.
Your actual DHA-based color continues developing after the rinse, so don’t panic if you look lighter immediately afterward.

Your first rinse should be quick and gentle.
After that, follow the aftercare instructions provided with your appointment.
Avoid aggressive exfoliation, very hot showers and harsh body products if you want your color to last as long and fade as evenly as possible.

Most spray tans last approximately 10-12 days, depending heavily on your skin, prep, hydration, body-care products + lifestyle.
Florida adds a few extra challenges: heat, sweating, chlorine, salt water + frequent showers can all affect longevity.
The healthier and more hydrated your skin is, the better your tan generally wears and fades.

Avoid workouts, swimming + excessive sweating while your tan is developing.
Whenever possible, I also recommend waiting until after your first proper rinse before returning to intense exercise.
Florida humidity already gives us enough to work with—we don’t need hot Pilates joining the development process.

Absolutely.
Just know that chlorine, salt water + prolonged water exposure can shorten the life of any sunless tan.
Rinse your skin after swimming and moisturize afterward to help prevent unnecessary dryness.
And yes—you still need SPF.
A spray tan does not provide sun protection.

These areas tend to be drier and can absorb solution differently than the rest of the body.
That’s why prep matters so much—and why I use skin prep + intentional application techniques during your appointment rather than treating every part of the body exactly the same.
Healthy skin really is the foundation of a beautiful tan.
Events + Special Appointments

For most weddings, vacations, photoshoots + events, I recommend scheduling your tan approximately 1–2 days beforehand.
That gives your color time to develop, settle + complete the initial rinse.
For something extremely important—especially a wedding—I strongly recommend having a trial beforehand.

The Bridal Glow Experience includes six customized spray tans that can be used throughout your bridal season—for your trial, engagement photos, shower, bachelorette, rehearsal dinner + wedding glow.
The goal is simple:
By wedding week, we already know exactly what works on your skin.

Yes.
Group Glow appointments are available for 2–8+ guests at one location.
Each person still receives her own consultation + customized color. This is never an assembly-line tanning experience.
Group appointments are perfect for girls’ weekends, birthdays, vacations, bridal parties + events.
Groups of 5+ are just $56 per person.

Because every guest needs her own client information, consultation questions + prep reminders, group bookings require a little more information than a single appointment.

Yes.
Competition Glow is available for bodybuilding, fitness, cheer, dance + other stage events.
Competition color is intentionally different from everyday spray tanning because stage lighting requires significantly more depth + definition.
Day 1 and Day 1 + Day 2 options are available, along with optional second coats, stage oil + shimmer finishing services.
Membership + Referral Rewards

The Glow Club includes two customized mobile spray tans every 30 days, member-only pricing + priority access.
Classic Glow Club — $99/month
Rapid + Clear Glow Club — $109/month
If you’re already getting sprayed twice a month, membership is usually the most cost-effective way to keep your color consistent.

Glow by Dominique is based in Wellen Park and serves Venice, North Port, Nokomis, Sarasota, Osprey, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, Englewood + select surrounding Southwest Florida communities.
Travel within qualifying Wellen Park communities is complimentary.
Additional travel fees may apply based on distance.

Travel is complimentary within qualifying Wellen Park communities.
Outside Wellen Park:
5–15 miles — $20
15–25 miles — $30
25+ miles — $40Group appointments of 2+ guests receive complimentary travel within 25 miles of Downtown Wellen Park.
Your final travel fee is confirmed based on your service address.

Usually, yes.
Hotels, vacation rentals + approved event locations can be great options for mobile spray tanning.
You’ll just need to confirm that the property allows an outside service provider and that we have enough appropriate space for the setup.

Booking + Policies

The easiest way is to book directly online.
Choose your preferred Glow through the online booking calendar, select your appointment time and complete the required intake questions. Dominique will bring the complete professional setup directly to your approved appointment location.

Appointments require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged the full service amount.
