Glow by Dominique is a mobile spray tanning service based in Wellen Park, serving Venice, North Port, Sarasota and surrounding areas. I bring the tent, equipment, professional tanning solutions and everything needed for your appointment directly to your home.

No driving home freshly sprayed. No Florida humidity in a parking lot. No trying to position a seatbelt so it doesn’t touch you.

You get sprayed, I pack everything back up, and you’re already home.

But if this is your first time booking a mobile spray tan, you probably have a few questions—especially about pricing, travel fees and what actually happens once I show up at your door.

So here’s exactly what to expect.

How Much Does a Mobile Spray Tan Cost in Wellen Park?

Glow by Dominique currently offers three main spray tan options:

Classic Glow — $75

Classic is my traditional developing solution and is perfect if you don’t mind keeping your tan on longer before your first rinse.

This is a great option for an evening appointment when you can let your color develop overnight.

Rapid Glow — $85

Rapid is made for the client who wants more flexibility.

Your first rinse is typically within approximately 3–5 hours depending on the depth of color we’re creating, which makes it much easier to fit a spray tan into a busy day.

Clear Glow — $95

Clear is my bronzer-free rapid option.

Unlike a traditional spray tan, you won’t leave with instant cosmetic color sitting on your skin. Your actual tan develops gradually afterward.

I especially love this option for clients who have things to do after their appointment, don’t love the feel of cosmetic bronzer or simply prefer a really clean post-tan experience.

Not sure which one to book?

Please don’t overthink it.

You do not need to understand formulas, DHA percentages or undertones before making an appointment.

That part is my job.

We can choose your glow based on your skin, your schedule, how much color you want and when you need your tan to look its best.

Is Mobile Spray Tanning Free in Wellen Park?

Travel within Wellen Park is complimentary.

For appointments outside of Wellen Park, travel fees are calculated based on the distance from Downtown Wellen Park:

5–15 miles: $20

15–25 miles: $30

25+ miles: $40

Your service address is reviewed after booking and your travel fee is confirmed based on the location.

Getting sprayed with a friend?

This is one of my favorite options.

When two or more people are getting sprayed at the same location, there is no travel fee within 25 miles of Downtown Wellen Park.

So if your sister, neighbor, best friend or bridal party needs a glow too, booking together can make a lot of sense.

And honestly, it makes the appointment more fun.

What Do I Need in My House for a Mobile Spray Tan?

Much less than people think.

You do not need a giant empty room or some picture-perfect bathroom.

I bring the mobile setup with me.

I just need approximately a 6' × 6' clean space, good lighting, ventilation and access to two electrical outlets.

A spare bedroom, bathroom, office or another open area of the house can usually work perfectly.

Once I arrive, I set everything up and create a private little spray tan space right inside your home.

What Happens During the Appointment?

Before your appointment, you’ll complete your intake information so I can learn a little about your skin, your desired result and what you’re getting sprayed for.

When I arrive, we’ll talk through it together.

This is where you can tell me exactly what you want—even if your description is simply:

“I want to look like I actually went somewhere.”

“I just want a little color.”

“I want to look tan but still natural.”

Or one of my personal favorites:

“Make me DARK.”

All valid.

I’ll look at your natural skin tone, undertones and overall skin condition, and we’ll decide on the best formula and depth for you.

Then I’ll apply barrier protection where needed, customize your color and spray you.

After application, I’ll make sure everything is even, finish the skin appropriately and go over your exact rinse instructions before I leave.

The experience is very private, very comfortable and honestly much easier than most first-time clients expect.

Are All of Your Spray Tans Customized?

Yes. Always.

This is probably the part of Glow by Dominique that matters most to me.

I’ve been a licensed esthetician for more than 16 years, so I look at spray tanning through a skin-first lens.

I’m paying attention to more than how dark you tell me you want to be.

I’m looking at your natural coloring, undertones, skin condition and the way your skin is likely to develop and hold color.

Because putting the same formula on every single person just doesn’t make sense to me.

And darker is not automatically better.

The best spray tan should complement you.

I always say I don’t want someone to look at you and immediately think:

She got a spray tan.

I want them thinking:

Why does her skin look so good?

That’s the goal.

How Do I Prepare for My Appointment?

Prep absolutely matters, but I won’t turn this into another giant spray-tan-prep lesson because I already have a full guide dedicated to exactly that.

The basics:

Exfoliate ahead of your appointment, complete shaving or waxing beforehand, and arrive with clean skin without lotions, oils, deodorant or other products that may interfere with your tan.

And have loose, comfortable clothing ready for afterward.

Good prep + the right solution + good aftercare make a huge difference in your final result.

What Happens After My Mobile Spray Tan?

This is where mobile really wins for me.

I leave.

You stay exactly where you are.

There’s no drive home after your appointment and no climbing into a hot Florida car while trying not to let anything touch your skin.

You can put on your loose clothes and let your tan develop comfortably at home.

Your rinse time will depend on the formula we chose, and I’ll tell you exactly when to rinse before I leave.

One important thing to remember—especially with a rapid or clear spray tan—is that your first rinse does not mean your tan is finished developing.

Your color continues to develop afterward, so don't panic if you rinse and initially feel lighter than expected.

Give it time.

How Long Should I Plan for My Appointment?

The actual spraying portion is pretty quick.

The rest of the appointment includes setting up, talking through your desired color, customizing your formula, application, finishing and reviewing your rinse instructions.

I never want anyone to feel rushed, but I also designed Glow to be convenient.

You shouldn’t have to block off half of your day to get a spray tan.

Is an In-Home Spray Tan Actually Worth It?

For a lot of my clients, mobile spray tanning starts as something they book because they have an event.

A wedding.

A vacation.

Photos.

A girls' weekend.

And then they realize how easy it is to have the appointment come to them.
